These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of hoodcon.com (the "Site"), which is operated by HoodCon ("HoodCon," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Independent event; no affiliation

HoodCon is an independent event. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with Robinhood Markets, Inc., Robinhood Crypto, LLC, Robinhood Financial LLC, or any of their parents, subsidiaries, or affiliates (together, "Robinhood"). Robinhood has not reviewed or approved this Site or the Event. Nothing on the Site should be read as a statement by or on behalf of Robinhood.

2. Trademarks

"Robinhood," "Robinhood Chain," and all related names, logos, product names, and marks are trademarks or registered trademarks of Robinhood. All other third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. We refer to them only to identify the ecosystem the Event covers (nominative use). This does not imply any sponsorship, endorsement, or relationship. The HoodCon name, wordmark, and Site design belong to HoodCon. Do not use them without our written permission.

3. Preliminary information

The Event is in the planning stages. Dates, venue, hotels, programming, speakers, sponsors, pricing, and other details on the Site are preliminary. They are provided for information only and may change or be canceled without notice. Listing a venue, hotel, vendor, or partner does not mean a contract has been signed unless we say so.

4. Not financial advice

The Site and the Event are for educational and networking purposes. Nothing on the Site, or said by HoodCon, its speakers, or its sponsors, is financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security, token, or digital asset. Digital assets are highly risky. Do your own research and consult qualified professionals. Views expressed by speakers and sponsors are their own.

5. Tickets, sponsorships, and bookings

Joining the waitlist does not reserve a ticket. Ticket purchases, sponsorship agreements, and exhibitor agreements will be governed by separate terms presented at the time of purchase or signing, including refund and code-of-conduct policies. Hotel, lodging, and travel bookings made through third-party links are between you and that provider.

6. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites, such as hotels, Airbnb, and ticketing platforms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site. For example, you will not submit false or someone else's information, send spam, attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with the Site's operation, or scrape it in a way that burdens our systems.

8. Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOODCON AND ITS ORGANIZERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when they last changed. If you continue to use the Site after an update, you accept the revised Terms.
